Description
Interclypse is supporting several Maryland state agencies in the modernization and sustainment of critical systems. This exciting opportunity provides candidates with the ability to contribute to the long-term health and success of the state while continuing to learn and grow professionally within Interclypse's growth mindset culture.
All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.
Responsibilities:The Computer Programmer (Senior) shall utilize IT equipment and languages (third- and fourth-generation or current state-of-the-art) to develop and prepare diagrammatic plans to solve business, management, communications, and strategic problems. This individual shall design detailed programs, flowcharts, and diagrams showing mathematical computations and sequence of machine operations necessary to copy and process data and print results. This individual shall verify the accuracy and completeness of programs and systems by preparing sample representative data, and perform testing by means of cycle and system processing.
Requirements
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant technical degrees, (Master's degree is preferred)
- 8 years programming experience in software development or maintenance
Preferred Qualifications - 5 years experience in IT systems analysis or programming
- Must have a strong background in software engineering principles and techniques.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in BI and Data Warehouse.
- Experience with developing and maintaining dashboards and reports from raw data in the form easily digestible stories by understanding business needs and translating into Qlik-based solutions.
- Experience with improving and enriching the existing reporting systems while working to extend the platforms by incorporating new data sources and requirements.
- Experience with document template design will be preferred
- Needs to have experience designing BI solutions using Qlikview and QlikSense.

The base salary range provided is not adjusted for geographic differences associated with where the work is being performed. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, candidate's experience and education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
