Role Overview:This role focuses on assessing existing recurring reporting processes to identify and implement automation opportunities. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated reporting solutions that significantly reduce manual effort and enhance reliability. The position requires a strong emphasis on Business Intelligence, data automation, and the operationalization of analytics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess existing recurring reporting processes and identify automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.
- Develop Python scripts and workflows to automate data preparation, report generation, quality control checks, and distribution.
- Build and enhance dashboards and self-service reporting solutions in Sigma and/or Tableau.
- Utilize Domino or related analytics platforms to support reporting automation and operationalization of analytics workflows.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Create documentation for automated processes, data sources, and reporting logic.
- Monitor automated jobs and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Recommend best practices for reporting governance, automation, and data quality.
