As a BI Analyst, you will serve as a trusted business partner, translating business needs into meaningful, data-driven solutions. You will design and develop intuitive dashboards, support stakeholders with their analytical requirements, and recommend data visualization best practices to deliver clear, actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.

How you will contribute to collective success:


Business Partnership & Requirements Gathering

  • Lead the collection and analysis of business requirements with project sponsors and subject matter experts (SMEs) across various business functions to understand objectives and analytical needs.
  • Translate business requirements and large volumes of data into actionable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
  • Work within an Agile development framework by translating business needs into user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and creating visual mockups to guide development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business by proactively identifying opportunities to leverage data and improve analytics and decision-making.

Data Visualization

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Apply data visualization best practices.
  • Ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and business logic defined by the organization are accurately represented in dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Continuously enhance existing solutions based on business needs, user adoption, and evolving requirements.

Leadership

  • Collaborate with data engineers to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on BI development, analytics, dashboard design, and data visualization best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of BI standards and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibilities as a Business Analyst;
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful strategic insights;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business challenges and recommend effective data-driven solutions;
  • Advanced proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, SAC, Tableau, etc.);
  • Deep knowledge of data visualization and data storytelling best practices; Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
