JOB DESCRIPTION

Clinical Support Division (CSD), Clinical Quality Management (CQM) Branch - Business and Financial Ops Specialist

The Clinical Support Division team is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Analyst (A) or Consultant (C) to support the Clinical Quality Management (CQM) team. 

Compensation & Benefits for Business and Financial Ops Specialist:

Estimated Starting Salary Range forBusiness and Financial Ops Specialist: $85,000 - $95,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for efforts associated with CQM strategy and responsibilities. 
  • Performs policy and literature development and reviews associated with health care and health care delivery (e.g., DHA-Procedures Manuals, DHA-Interim Procedures Manuals, Fiscal Year TRICARE Evaluation Reports, DHA Memorandums)
  • Provide support to CQM Branch and Programs to develop policy, guidance, TRICARE Evaluation, leadership briefings, information papers, technical papers, decision memos, and other reports, as necessary.
  • Addresses feedback from key stakeholders via policy adjudication, researching and reviewing issuance standards to provide an accurate response.
  • Facilitate meetings with key CQM stakeholders as needed. 
  • Support execution of complex project timelines with multiple layers of review, proactively raising risks, identifying challenges, and documenting learnings. 
  • Reviews quality data, develops analysis, identifies trends, and summarizes results, as necessary.
  • Communicate and conduct regular check-ins, support project management by anticipating client needs and proposing solutions.
  • Supports ad-hoc requests from CQM Branch and associated Programs, as requested. 

     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Public Trust or higher (Active CAC a plus).
  • MA/MS degree
  • Extensive knowledge of MHS policy and mission. Ability to collect, summarize, and analyze program data and objectives, and to make actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working within the MHS 
  • Experience drafting/adjudicating health policy or guidance preferred.
  • Experience developing and analyzing various data sources preferred.
  • Experience developing and presenting materials to senior stakeholders preferred. 
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong core consulting skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.

     

Project Details:

  • Resource Level: Experienced Analyst or Experienced Consultant 
  • Time required: Full-Time; one year commitment.
