Job SummaryWe are seeking a
Business Excellence Strategic Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive operational excellence and support key business objectives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, results-oriented project management professional with experience delivering enterprise-level projects on time and within budget. This individual will excel at stakeholder engagement, project planning, resource coordination, and change management while effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to build collaborative partnerships, and a proactive approach to risk management and process improvement are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Works with and motivates the team to achieve the project timelines and objectives
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develops full-scale project plans and associated project documents, including resource needs
- Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
- Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and manages those expectations on an ongoing basis
- Builds, develops, and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Manages and monitors the project budget to ensure effective resource allocation, cost control, and adherence to financial objectives.
- Determines and assesses the need for additional staff and makes recommendations as appropriate during the project cycle
- Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and the critical path
- Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential crises, and devises contingency plans
- Conducts project post-mortem reviews and prepares recommendation reports to evaluate project outcomes, highlighting successful practices, areas for improvement, and lessons learned.
- Assist in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Assist with special project implementations as needed
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three years of experience managing enterprise projects
- Experience in Hospitality Operations/ and or support functions is preferred
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, including Monday, Smartsheet, and or Microsoft Project, is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
- Validated leadership and supervisory skills; demonstrated ability to lead, encourage, and empower teams
- Ability to work well under pressure as a key member of a fast-paced team
- Able to operate independently as well as part of a team
- Client Relationship skills
- Superb oral and written communication skills
- Manages and monitors the project budget to ensure effective resource allocation, cost control, and adherence to financial objectives.
- Able to travel as needed up to 20% - for site visits, mobilization oversight
