Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual with a range of knowledge to support the Continuous Improvement group within the Business Excellence Department of Siemens Mobility NAM. The successful candidate would mainly lead and facilitate the execution of continuous improvement initiatives to meet our internal stakeholders' expectations/requirements while ensuring compliance with our internal policies and procedures.

Position focusing on developing, testing, implementing, analyzing, and evaluating possible automation of continuous improvement initiatives within systems complying with internal processes in their specific field of expertise.

What will you do?
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create, develop, maintain and improve systems to drive automation of compliance requirements across various departments and business units using Microsoft 365 and cloud-based low-code applications.
  • Develop Visual Boards to analyze data and help identify inefficiencies and gaps to improve business/operational excellence
  • Liaise with SMO NAM functions and provide support to ongoing company initiatives.

What will you need to succeed?
  • Education in Computer Science or similar field.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in MS Office and cloud-based low-code applications.
  • Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability to learn and work in a high pace environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, proficiency in data analysis, coordination, organization and teamwork skills.
  • Language Requirements:
    • English: The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English. This includes the ability to understand and produce clear, concise, and grammatically correct written documents.
    • French (Preferred): While not mandatory, proficiency in French is highly desirable.

Work Environment
  • Hybrid Work Model: The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.
  • Reporting: Reports to the Business Excellence Manager in Canada
  • Travel may be required. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel as part of their responsibilities.

Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $80,000 CAD - 100,000 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on Company performance metrics.

The successful candidate for this position must be fluent in French and English (oral and written) to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role.
    • The role requires interaction with French and/or English speaking customers and suppliers across Canada and/or abroad.
    • The role requires regular interaction with Siemens colleagues based in Quebec, Ontario, nationally and internationally.
