Overview:
As a member of the People Team, the Business Effectiveness Lead plays a critical role in driving execution, operational discipline, and strategic alignment across the Functional People Team and Operational Excellence agenda. The role reports to the SVP, Functional PeopleLeadand Operational Excellence and serves as a trusted partner. This role is accountable for orchestrating priorities, driving alignment, and leading delivery of a complex portfolio of initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery across peopleinitiatives andoperateswith clarity, focus, and strong execution discipline in support of enterprise transformation priorities.
Responsibilities & Impact:
Operating Rhythm Support
Lead the end-toend operatingcadencefor the team, ensuring clarity of priorities,sequencing,and accountability.
Drive and shape the SVP agenda, ensuring focus on the highest impact of projects and decisions.
Develop and manage agendas, materials, and action tracking for leadership team meetings, functional updates, town halls, and other key forums.
Coordinate preparation for senior stakeholder discussions, ensuring materials are clear, concise, data-informed, and aligned to the broader People Team and business agenda.
Maintain visibility into team priorities and commitments, helping toidentifydependencies, risks, decisions needed, and opportunities to improve execution.
Partner with Finance and People stakeholders to support workforce planning, hiring governance, organizational tracking, productivity initiatives, and budget-related people processes.
Help connect people priorities to financial and operational planning cycles, ensuring actions are tracked and stakeholders have the information needed to maketimelydecisions.
Process Excellence and Operational Effectiveness
Lead or support process improvement efforts across theteam,identifyingopportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and strengthen recurring activities and deliverables.
Create practical tools, templates, trackers, and governance routines that improve consistency, transparency, and accountability across projects and priorities.
Monitor progress against key priorities and prepare updates that highlight milestones, risks, decisions, and next steps.
Identifyand apply AI-enabled tools and capabilities to improve team productivity, knowledge management, data synthesis, communications, and recurring processes.
Strategic Initiative Support
Manageand support cross-functional People Team projects, including transformation initiatives, organizationaleffectiveness, talent processes, employee experience priorities, and team enablement efforts.
Translate complex or ambiguous priorities into structured project plans, milestones, deliverables, and communication plans.
Develop executive-ready presentations, briefing documents, dashboards, and summaries that synthesize key messages, insights, and recommendations.
Compensation/Benefits Information:(This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $ 104,435 to $ 182,604. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Basic Required Qualifications:
Understanding ofhuman resources principles,peopleprocesses, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness practices.
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people priorities to operational, financial, and strategic outcomes.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare polished, executive-ready materials and synthesize complex information clearly.
Strong analytical skills, including comfort working with data from multiple sources and translating insights into recommendations.
Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel, with experience creating trackers, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations.
Curiosity and practical fluency with AI tools and emerging technologies, with a focus on responsible use, productivity, and process improvement.
