Full Job Description
Sellers in this role will focus on corporate initiatives, securing net-new acquisition, and revenue expansion within existing customers. Specialists will offer strategic pricing expertise and act as a mentor in the district with a goal to accelerate the sales cycle and bring on incremental revenue. Daily tasks will involve call cycling, prospecting, pricing negotiations, training, and collaboration with primary counterparts.

Essential Functions
  • Targets new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue, conducting background research on potential customers, discussing the customer's supply chain with decision makers and other appropriate customer representatives, analyzing customer needs, and developing and implementing transportation and digital value propositions and customized pricing. Utilizes Customer Data Enablement, Suggested Calls, and other data-driven reporting to identify opportunities.
  • Maintains regular and consistent communication with manager and peers within the Sales organization, related to joint sales call opportunities, lead generation, etc. in support of new/incremental revenue.
  • Produces and presents customized strategic pricing to customers using senior level negotiation skills.
  • Collaborates with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas as appropriate in identifying issues and initiating/transitioning solutions to support growth of revenue and close of incremental business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/equivalent

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of business-to-business sales or related company experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to travel overnight as required.

Heavy overnight travel required.

Preferred Qualifications: This role focuses on corporate initiatives, securing net-new acquisitions & driving revenue growth in existing accounts. The BDS acts as a strategic pricing expert & mentor in the district, accelerating the sales cycle & bring in incremental revenue. This is a customer-facing role that requires regular in person meetings. Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius of domicile or surrounding locations.

Pay Transparency:

Pay: $7,425.00-$10,450.00/monthly

Additional Details: This position may be eligible for relocation, based on business need. Position not eligible for sponsorship.
