Full Job Description
Paladin Data Corporation is seeking a driven, energetic self-starter with prior sales experience to join our Mesa-based sales team. This entry-level position is designed to groom you into a high-performance Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. This role serves as the frontline of the sales organization, bridging marketing efforts and the sales pipeline by initiating meaningful conversations with potential clients. BDRs focus on outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, ensuring that high-quality opportunities are passed to Account Executives or Sales Managers for closing. Choice of two medical plans (PPO or HSA plan), 100% company-paid Dental, Vision, Hearing, Long- and Short-term Disability, Life and AD&D Insurance.     • Maintain consistent daily activity levels (calls, emails, touches).
  • Lead Qualification
    • Engage inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and buying intent.
    • Understand prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making process.
    • Qualify opportunities based on defined criteria (e.g., budget, authority, need, timeline).
  • Pipeline Development:
    • Schedule meetings for the sales team.
    • Accurately document activities and insights in CRM.
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Draw on other team members' knowledge through communication and collaboration.
  • Exceed goals for sales activities and qualified opportunities.

Compensation:
  • Starting Pay: $25/hour
  • Performance-Based Raises: Quarterly increases based on sales metrics, with the potential to reach $35/hour (equivalent to $72,000/year after one year of strong performance)
  • Monthly Sales Bonus: $250 per sale, with an average of 10 sales per month ($30,000/year in bonus potential)
  • Total Compensation Potential: Approximately $102,000/year, based on average performance and bonus eligibility
Eligibility for remote work is available after one year, based on performance.
