If you're a driven professional who enjoys business development, strategic partnerships, and making an impact in education, we would love to meet you.

About the Role
ESI's InDemand division is hiring a results-driven Business Development Program Manager to lead business development and grow our contingent staffing program across Arizona. You'll own the full sales cycle - prospecting, discovery, proposals, negotiation, and account growth - and partner with recruiters to deliver workforce solutions that make a real difference for our K-12 clients.

What You'll Do
  • Drive new business: identify, prospect, and close new K-12 clients across Arizona through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, and in-person meetings
  • Grow existing accounts: deepen relationships with decision-makers and expand requisition volume within your book of business
  • Own the sales cycle: lead discovery meetings, presentations, proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations
  • Manage your pipeline: keep CRM and ATS data current; forecast accurately; report on pipeline health, requisition volume, fill rate, and client retention
  • Respond to RFPs: research applicable Requests for Proposals and lead timely, competitive responses in coordination with other Program Managers and Leadership
  • Partner with recruiting: translate client needs into clear job orders and collaborate with Recruiter(s) to deliver quality fills on time
  • Lead and coach: supervise and develop the Recruiter(s) supporting InDemand
  • Stay market-smart: track staffing trends, workforce challenges, and opportunities in Arizona's K-12 market
What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days
  • You know our services, pricing, and value proposition cold, and can articulate them in front of a superintendent, principal, or HR director
  • You've mapped your target account list, built an active pipeline in the CRM, and are consistently hitting weekly outreach and meeting targets
  • You've secured your first new-client requisitions and built a working rhythm with the recruiting team to fill them
What You'll Bring - Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in business development, staffing, account management, or consultative sales, with a track record of exceeding revenue goals
  • Proven success generating new business and closing new accounts
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Comfort with in-person, phone, email, and video communication with all levels of stakeholders
  • Experience supervising or coaching recruiters or sales staff
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check
  • Must be local to the Phoenix metropolitan area
Nice to Have
  • Experience selling into K-12 education or the public sector in Arizona
  • Experience/knowledge of Special Education services and positions
  • Hands-on experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, FreshSales) and ATS platforms (e.g., Bullhorn, Ceipal, or comparable)
  • Experience responding to RFPs in a staffing or professional services environment
Compensation & Benefits
  • $75K-$95K base salary (DOE), plus uncapped commission
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Group health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
  • Paid vacation time and Arizona Fair Wages and Healthy Families Act Paid Sick Time
