Full Job Description
is currently seeking a Business Development Manager - eClinical/eCOA for our Lansdale, PA location. The Business Development Manager - eClinical / eCOA is responsible for the development of Almac business through new clients and for growth with existing named accounts. As a key member of the Commercial team, this person is responsible for execution of our global commercial strategy within their sales assignment. As a visual and public representative, this person must demonstrate exemplary sales abilities to build and strengthen long-lasting client relationships.

The Opportunity

Working closely with internal commercial, proposal, and operational teams, you will manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to deal closure. This includes leading client meetings, delivering presentations and demonstrations, managing sales opportunities through Salesforce, and supporting contracts, proposals, and budget negotiations. You will represent a proven, highly attractive eClinical solution with strong traction among existing customers, clear strategic value for sponsors and CROs, and significant potential for further expansion - making this a compelling, high-impact opportunity for an experienced sales professional. The role requires frequent domestic and international travel (approximately 50%) beyond normal working hours as and when required to support client meetings, industry events, and commercial activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Identify, cultivate, manage, and close new business for the company
  • Capture and communicate all relevant industry feedback, intelligence, and market information to educate and inform the business and to align the company strategy with the requirements for achieving a competitive advantage
  • Develop new client relationships using all available tools to network into and within client companies, including all commercial activities, ownership of all sales opportunities, and the development of account plans
  • Close, plan, and manage Sales meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver company capabilities presentations and demonstrations to clients
  • Manage all required resources to help drive and close new business
  • Deliver protocol-specific presentations to clients
  • Deliver general topic presentations to clients and industry
  • Attend trade shows and industry events
  • Negotiate proposal timelines, pricing, and agreements as needed to close new opportunities


Qualifications:

Required Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 to 7 years of significant direct sales or consultative business development experience
  • Active employment and existing network of business relationships
  • Experience in providing market insight and trend information to management to help inform strategic decision-making and competitive advantages
  • Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a Business, Management, Finance and/or Life Sciences subject
  • Significant experience of direct selling or business development experience in eClinical Solutions, including EDC, eCOA, ePRO, and/or other clinical development data collection modalities
  • Good working knowledge of the drug development and clinical trial process
