Job Description:

This position is a hybrid role based in our Mississauga office where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Ingram Micro strongly believes in empowering organizations with best-in-class cyber defense capabilities. Ingram Micro is the Authorized Distributor for most of the strategic Cybersecurity vendors present in the region. This allows our Business Partners to enhance their customers' ability to stay updated with the changing landscape of threats, technologies and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Internal and External Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Ingram and with external partners to drive collaboration and business success.
  • Develop and Execute Strategic Initiatives: Lead strategies focused on share-shift, customer retention, and new customer acquisition to support long-term growth. Support the preparation and delivery of performance reviews and vendor cadence updates, sharing progress on business development initiatives, channel-engagement activities, and strategic actions to accelerate partner growth.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales and improve revenue performance across assigned accounts or territories. Drive business growth by actively engaging in customer-facing meetings and building strong relationships, while developing and executing a strategic account plan in collaboration with key vendor partners.
  • Enable Partner Success: Design and implement clear, actionable plans to support channel partners in growing their business effectively.
  • Monitor Performance and Generate Reports: Track key performance indicators and produce insightful reports using advanced Excel skills to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with licensing, marketing, and extended teams to align efforts and ensure the successful execution of initiatives.
  • Travel: May travel up to 10% (which includes Canada or US travel), however, mainly GTA travel.


What you bring to the role:
  • Diploma or Degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
  • Minimum 5-8+ years of business development or account management experience is required within IT distribution or a Cybersecurity Partner.
  • Will champion significant projects, programs, and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity and ingenuity.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently deliver business plans and performance reviews to customers and vendor partners.
  • Able to develop and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships through a customer-focused approach, while also being able to contribute significantly to the improvement of processes and systems.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills and must have effective presentation abilities.
  • Must be results-driven and customer-focused.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly advanced in Excel for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Relevant vendor certifications are considered an asset but are not required.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual starting base pay across all of Canada for all roles. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, including work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. This role is for an existing vacancy and will not use AI for screening applicants.
