Full Job Description
Business Development Manager to help expand our Commercial Segment business throughout the United States. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, driving specification activity, and supporting commercial project development across a variety of end markets.

Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, engineering firms, contractors, and internal teams, the successful candidate will help position Thermon's solutions on commercial construction and infrastructure projects from initial design through project execution.

What You'll Do
  • Develop new business opportunities across commercial and mission-critical construction markets.
  • Establish and grow relationships with key customers, engineering firms, contractors, developers, and channel partners.
  • Drive specification activity and support projects from concept and design through construction and commissioning.
  • Partner with internal teams to deliver technical solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Contribute market intelligence, customer insights, and strategic recommendations to support continued growth.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of business development, account management, technical sales, or market development experience.
  • Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, distributors, developers, EPCs, or end users.
  • Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and growing business opportunities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States, approximately 50%.
