Business Development Manager

Intertek is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our Industry Services team in Western Canada. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Sales!

The Business Development Manager is responsible for:

What you'll do:
  • Identifies and evaluates possible new markets and new clients for existing services.
  • Be knowledgeable of and present ATIC services to clients.
  • Solicits and evaluates client feedback.
  • Resolve client service-related issues.
  • Participate in trade events.
  • Regularly meet with existing clients with the goal of penetrating further with Intertek services.
  • Maintains pipeline and backlog allocations within I-Connect.
  • Generates monthly sales activity logging through client tracking system.
  • Implements client specific action plans.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Other duties related to the above, as assigned
  • Carrying out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, Quality Management System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.


What it takes to be successful in this role:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of the Petroleum testing industry.
  • Ability to develop SWOT analysis for existing and prospective clients.
