POSITION SUMMARYThe Business Development Director for The Landing Alexandria is responsible for driving growth and expansion opportunities while ensuring the highest quality of care and services for residents. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the senior care industry, and the ability to foster strong relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve facility growth and revenue goals
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for expansion
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, including physicians, hospitals, and community organizations
- Engage with families and potential residents to understand their needs and promote facility offerings
Marketing and Outreach:
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to enhance facility visibility and attract new residents
- Represent the facility at community events and networking functions to raise awareness and establish partnerships
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the business development team, ensuring alignment with the facility's mission and goals
- Provide training and support to staff on effective sales techniques and customer service excellence
Performance Monitoring:
- Set performance metrics and track the success of business development initiatives
- Prepare regular reports for senior management detailing progress towards goals and areas for improvement
Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all business development practices comply with relevant regulations and standards within the senior care industry
- Work closely with operations to align growth strategies with service delivery excellence
Educational Requirements and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare or senior living sector
- Strong understanding of the senior care market and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead a team, build relationships, and foster a culture of success and service
