Full Job Description
Olympus Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time, highly motivated Business Development (Capture Manager) with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will lead capture and business development efforts that grow our pipeline, shape winning teaming arrangements, and drive proposal submissions supporting enterprise customers across our Federal, Defense, Commercial, and SLED portfolios.

This position is 100% remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance business capabilities and offerings.
  • Develop and maintain the business pipeline for clients, leading strategic development and growth initiatives.
  • Attend scheduled and ad hoc meetings with clients and members of the company.
  • Attend conferences and trade shows on behalf of clients and in conjunction with clients.
  • Develop marketing plans for clients, including preparing marketing brochures, marketing materials, and external-facing documentation.
  • Prepare and update annual business development plans and quarterly business development reports for presentation to the client.
  • Perform capture management tasks, including pre-proposal activities such as capability matrices, drafting templates, and gathering customer intelligence.
  • Identify teammates and teaming arrangements to better capture opportunities for clients.
  • Lead and support proposal management, technical writing, compliance checks, and overall proposal submissions.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to set client-specific goals and appropriately assign priorities.
  • Map current and future contract vehicles with customers and partners to identify opportunities.
  • Actively participate in business development meetings.
  • Complete tasks as part of the company's defined capture management process.
  • Prepare weekly reports on progress.
  • Research market trends and maintain courses of action (COAs) as required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (business, marketing, science/technology, or a related field); in lieu of a bachelor's degree, three or more years of experience in federal contracting, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years supporting Federal customer-facing activities.
  • Certification in Capture Management and/or capture management training through Lohfeld, Shipley, or a similar course.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team, with the ability to properly manage stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with company executives and government leadership.
  • Ability to foster a positive user and customer experience.
  • Organized and efficient at managing multiple complex projects at any given time.
  • Ability to operate as part of a team and foster collaboration and trust.
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution and negotiation, managerial communications, and competitive intelligence.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and execute with professionalism in all work environments.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its uses within capture management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Office 365) and/or Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites).
  • Able to pass a federal and criminal background check.
