Job DescriptionYou will be the Principal Business Development Analyst for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Program within our Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Line of Business. Our team is responsible for advancing THAAD program development, Talon interceptor production, and integration of THAAD capability with the Army's Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS).
What You Will Be DoingAs the THAAD Principal Business Development Analyst you will be responsible for shaping and delivering premier technical and business solutions for the THAAD program and related initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead cross functional efforts to translate customer needs into technical and business solutions for the THAAD program and the Talon interceptor.
- Develop and execute capture plans, business opportunities, and validation activities.
- Coordinate with Program Management, Engineering, and Technology teams to integrate THAAD capability with IBCS and other defense architectures.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across MDA, Army, PAE Fires, Joint Staff, Department of War (DoW), and the operational community, to include Regional and Combatant Commands.
- Guide internal support and prioritization for urgent operational requirements, capability enhancements, and system solutions in response to combat operations.

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree
• Must have an active Final Secret clearance.
• Minimum 18 years experience in U.S. military, U.S. Government, or technology based industry.
• Subject matter expert on U.S. Armed Forces fielded Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Programs with specific area of expertise in PATRIOT, THAAD, and IAMD.
• Possess experience and a current working knowledge of DoW Acquisition process and DoD Directive 5000.1, the Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS), and Army Air and Missile Defense Capability Development processes; familiarity with recent DoW and Army acquisition reform measures.
• Possess experience with the U.S. Army and MDA Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process, acquisition and procurement business processes, and U.S. Armed Forces Service cultures to align strategic objectives and capture strategies.
• Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of management, engineers, DoW officials and Functional employees.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

• Superior knowledge of U.S. Armed Forces AMD operational strategy, tactical employment and modernization strategy.
• Superior knowledge of U.S. Army and MDA Program Objective Memorandum (POM) build, acquisition and procurement business processes and U.S. Armed Forces Service cultures.
• Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and proven success leading high-performing organizations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to clearly articulate strategies at multiple levels of business and government.
• Knowledgeable of linkage and coordination between U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence, Space and Missile Defense Command, T2COM, PAE Fires, HQDA Air and Missile Defense Program operations in the Pentagon.
• Effective Team Player - Outstanding organizational ability and demonstrated excellence motivating a diverse set of individuals in pursuit of common objectives.
• Previous U.S. Government civilian or military experience in Air and Missile Defense.
Ability to work remotelyPart-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
