SummaryThe Business Change Manager supports the planning, execution, and successful adoption of cross-functional change initiatives involving business processes, systems, and operational improvements across DSV Road. This role partners with Operations, IT, Engineering, Finance, and other stakeholders to manage assigned projects, gather and translate business requirements, assess impacts, coordinate testing and implementation, and support successful adoption of change.
This position serves as an individual contributor and is responsible for independently managing assigned projects and workstreams using change management, project management, and business analysis best practices.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage assigned change projects and workstreams from planning through implementation and adoption.
- Develop and execute change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, adoption, and resistance-management activities.
- Partner with Operations, IT, Engineering, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support new business implementations, system enhancements, and process improvements.
- Conduct change-impact and readiness assessments to identify affected stakeholders, processes, systems, risks, and implementation needs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through stakeholder discussions, workshops, process reviews, and workflow analysis.
- Map and evaluate current-state processes and support the development of future-state workflows and solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements, system impacts, and business needs are clearly understood and aligned.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, business-user participation, issue resolution, and validation prior to implementation.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process maps, testing documentation, project plans, training materials, and related deliverables.
- Coordinate implementation readiness, communications, and training to support successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working.
- Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and change adoption and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify changes in project scope, timing, or requirements and assess potential impacts to business processes, systems, and project deliverables.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and project discussions with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Independently prioritize multiple projects and competing business needs while maintaining established timelines and deliverables.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, business analysis, project management, logistics operations, process improvement, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience supporting or independently managing cross-functional projects, system implementations, or business process changes.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and developing current- and future-state process maps.
- Experience within transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, or supply chain environments preferred.
- Prosci Change Management/ADKAR certification preferred.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
Skills & Competencies- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, including stakeholder engagement, communication, training, adoption, and resistance management.

- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS), logistics and freight brokerage processes, and system integrations such as EDI and API preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Teams, and OneNote.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Physical DemandsThe position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods while working at a computer, speaking on the phone, and participating in virtual meetings. Frequent use of hands and fingers is necessary to operate a keyboard, mouse, phone, and other standard office equipment. The role requires regular verbal and written communication and the ability to exchange accurate information with carriers, team members, and internal stakeholders. Occasional standing, walking, reaching, and bending may be required to retrieve files or collaborate with team members. The employee may occasionally lift or move office materials weighing up to approximately 15 pounds, such as files, documents, or a laptop. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to focus on computer screens for extended periods.
Work EnvironmentThis position operates primarily in a professional office environment with regular interaction with operational, technical, and business teams. The position may occasionally require access to operational or warehouse environments in connection with project implementations, process assessments, or other business needs. The noise level is generally low to moderate. Some travel may be required based on project and business needs. Flexibility in work hours may be required based on operational, audit, or training needs.
For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
