OverviewThe Business Banking Sales Operations Representative III serves as a subject matter expert in business accounts and lending, supporting complex operations, regulatory alignment, training, and process improvements to improve efficiency and the member experience.
Responsibilities
- Independently processes complex business membership requests related to business account and lending service issues, identifies root causes, and resolves them accurately and timely.
- Leads initiative to improve quality assurance and risk mitigation efforts of business account and lending applications to ensure alignment with policy, procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation practices.
- Independently researches business related compliance rules, regulations, and laws and informs the Manager of necessary changes and required deadlines; utilizes appropriate resources to complete research, such as upper management, various consulting services, and vendors; ensure the Credit Union is adhering to policy and/or various state and federal laws.
- Collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders to improve workflows, products, services, system updates, and technology integrations while providing operational insight and recommendations.
- Responsible for testing new and existing business account and business lending processes while providing recommendations against test results.
- Partners with the Policy and Procedures department to draft, review, and update new and existing written resources including but not limited to policies, procedures, job aids, and matrices.
- Leads research efforts using report analytics, production data, and operational statistics to identify opportunities to improve product offerings, process workflows, service delivery, and team efficiency.
- Administer operations of the sales incentive program, including data entries, calculations, reporting, and data hygiene.
- Provides ongoing feedback and business intelligence to management through reports, charts, statistics, and written summaries.
- Supports the development and implementation of sales goals, aligning with the credit union’s overall business objectives.
- Provides ongoing operational communications and training to Business Services Sales team members and credit union frontline partners.
- Delegated authority to review and grant appropriate account-opening and servicing exceptions, ensuring requests are evaluated consistently against policy, procedure, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation standards while supporting timely resolution for members and internal partners.
- Works within their team and have a direct impact on themselves and their direct processes.

Qualifications
Education
- High School or GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years up to 6 years of experience in a recent financial services position.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of employees, including senior management.
- Knowledge of complex business entity structure including multi-level ownership.
- Working knowledge of Credit Union/Financial Institution compliance requirements and regulations related to business account and business lending.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products with the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, tracking tools, and data summaries to support business services operations.
