Position Overview
We are seeking a Business Analytics & Special Projects Manager to support high-impact operational, financial, and strategic initiatives across Elmet Technologies' manufacturing operations.

This role is highly cross-functional and sits at the intersection of finance, operations, supply chain, business analytics, and executive leadership. The Business Analytics & Special Projects Manager will drive visibility into operational performance, support strategic decision-making, improve reporting infrastructure, and lead critical analytical and process improvement initiatives across multiple sites.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role for a highly analytical professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can independently drive projects from concept through execution.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Business Analytics
• Lead forecasting and analytical support processes across manufacturing operations
• Analyze operational, financial, inventory, and production data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Develop reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI visibility for leadership teams
• Support pricing analysis, margin improvement initiatives, and profitability reporting
• Perform ad-hoc business analysis to support executive decision-making

Operational & Manufacturing Support
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to improve operational efficiency and cost visibility
• Analyze production performance, labor utilization, overhead allocation, and manufacturing variances
• Support inventory costing initiatives and standard cost management processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reporting accuracy and operational alignment across facilities

Special Projects & Process Improvement
• Lead strategic business initiatives and special projects across multiple locations
• Support process standardization and operational integration efforts across manufacturing operations
• Drive process improvement initiatives related to reporting, analytics, costing, and operational workflows
• Assist leadership with organizational build-out, modernization, and infrastructure initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in finance, analytics, operations, or manufacturing support roles
• Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, inventory processes, and operational reporting
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience with business intelligence tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms preferred
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present information to both operational and executive stakeholders
