We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking and Financial Services to join our client's team in New Jersey. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements gathering, analysis, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement elicitation sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
Prepare and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for development and testing teams.
Work closely with technical teams, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities.
Facilitate discussions between business and technology teams to resolve issues, manage scope, and drive consensus on project deliverables.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios, validating requirements, and coordinating with business users.
Ensure all project documentation, requirement traceability matrices, and change requests are maintained and compliant with organizational standards.
Leverage banking and financial services domain knowledge to support initiatives related to lending, payments, deposits, risk, compliance, or other financial products and processes.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience creating BRDs, process flows, use cases, and requirement documentation.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology leaders.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Salary: $65,000 - $130,000
