Business Analyst Support Services

Marine Corps University (MCU) / College of Distance Education and Training (CDET)

Location: Quantico, VA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Security Clearance: Secret (Tier 3)

**This position is contingent upon contract award.**

This position provides business operations, financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement support to assist leadership with budget execution, resource management, and operational planning. This position is contingent upon award.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support CDET Business Operations with financial planning and execution activities.
  • Assist in preparing training and conference support packages.
  • Develop and maintain the annual budget phasing plan.
  • Track and report funding execution, including phasing, authorizations, commitments, obligations, expenses, and liquidations.
  • Create charts, dashboards, and reports illustrating planned versus actual spending.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Develop automated business solutions using Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and Teams).
  • Prepare reports and briefings for leadership decision-making.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, budget execution, or business operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting the Department of Defense or Federal Government.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and Power Automate.
