Full Job Description
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to gather and refine requirements, create user stories, and support ongoing enhancements in a fast-paced Agile product environment.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
  • Gather, analyze, and refine business and functional requirements for product enhancements and new features.
  • Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria that provide meaningful direction and context to development and QA teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders and product teams to prioritize backlog items and support product roadmap initiatives.
  • Participate in and facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and standups.
  • Help teams understand the business value and context behind requirements and translate stakeholder needs into actionable solutions.
  • Support testing efforts and ensure completed work meets business requirements and quality expectations.
  • Help drive frequent releases, continuous improvements, and evolving priorities across an established healthcare platform.


Qualifications of the Business Analyst:
  • 4+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting software development teams in an Agile product environment.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including requirements gathering, user story creation, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
  • Proven ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Naturally curious and comfortable asking questions to understand the "why" behind requirements and uncover the underlying business need.
  • Functional understanding of APIs and system integrations; Postman or API testing experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with frequent enhancements, changing priorities, and regular releases.
  • Experience with Jira, Figma, Azure, or healthcare technology environments is preferred but not required.


Compensation for the Business Analyst includes:
  • Salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
  • Annual bonus eligibility based on company performance
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and PTO
  • Primarily remote work environment with occasional travel to the Columbia, MD area
