Here's what you'll do:

Business Application Support
  • Assist in the administration and support of key business applications used across Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercial teams.
  • Help monitor system performance and escalate issues to IT when needed.
  • Support configuration updates, testing, and documentation of application changes.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work with different departments to understand system needs and help document business requirements.
  • Assist in translating business needs into system requests for IT teams.
  • Support communication between business users and IT during system updates or issue resolution.

Business Analytics & Reporting
  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of operational and system data to help improve business processes.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards that provide insights into system performance, operational efficiency, and process improvements.
  • Work with different teams to help identify trends, data gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support data validation and ensure accuracy of information used for reporting and decision-making.
  • Assist in documenting metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system usage and operational workflows.

Project & System Support
  • Assist with application upgrades, implementations, and system improvements.
  • Participate in testing and validation of new system features.
  • Help maintain system documentation and process workflows.

User Support & Training
  • Provide basic support to internal users for business applications.
  • Assist with user onboarding and training for new tools or system updates.
  • Track and document common issuesto help improve user experience.

Continuous Improvement
  • Help identify opportunities to improve processes through better use of technology.
  • Assist with reporting on system usage and operational improvements.
  • Support initiatives that enhance efficiency across business teams.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Follow company safety and environmental health guidelines.
  • Support cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

What we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Life Sciences, or any other equivalent degree or experience
  • Minimum 1-2 year of experience working business applications.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to solve practical problems, define cause and effect, map dependencies in process.
  • Organized, detail oriented, analytical, curious, with demonstrated troubleshooting and investigation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight, in a complex global environment;
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, capacity for team environment, and exhibits a genuine interest in drug discovery in support of advancing human health.


Additional Information

Candidates within a commutable distance of Fremont, CA are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate range: $41.83 - $45/hr.

Schedule:
  • The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
