Overview

D'Addario is seeking an experienced Business Analyst, Finance to serve as a key business partner between Finance and Information Technology, helping to analyze, improve, and support the systems and processes that power financial operations across the organization. This role will play a critical part in modernizing and optimizing finance capabilities by partnering closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to drive process efficiency, system performance, data integrity, and business value.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications, this position also maintains a dotted-line relationship to the VP of Finance to ensure technology investments, business processes, and financial priorities remain aligned.

 

As a Business Analyst supporting Finance, you will help strengthen the partnership between IT and Finance by ensuring the systems supporting financial operations are effective, scalable, and strategically aligned with business objectives. You will work across critical finance functions including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, while also supporting the manufacturing and supply chain financial processes that are essential to D'Addario's business.

 

You will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Service, and IT teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, better decision support, and enhanced business performance. This is a hands-on, analytical role that will play a key part in supporting ongoing business transformation and operational excellence.

Compensation: 

We offer a competitive total compensation package. The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$125,000 and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

Finance Business Partnership & Requirements Analysis

  • Serve as a key IT point of contact and trusted advisor to the Finance organization.
  • Build strong partnerships with Finance leadership and key stakeholders to understand priorities, pain points, and strategic needs.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into practical system solutions and improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the finance systems roadmap and help align priorities with business strategy, operational needs, and IT standards.
  • Support the intake, prioritization, and delivery of finance-related enhancements, projects, and support needs.

Finance Process Analysis & Improvement

  • Analyze and support continuous improvement of finance processes across order to cash, procure to pay, financial close, and FP&A.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, improve controls, and enhance the user experience.
  • Support process standardization and documentation across finance-related functions.
  • Partner with business teams to improve the effectiveness of month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

ERP, FP&A, and Application Support

  • Provide application support and assist with configuration, enhancement planning, testing, release coordination, and issue resolution for finance-related systems.
  • Support and optimize ERP and planning platforms, including Infor XA and Limelight, or comparable systems.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party partners on upgrades, fixes, integrations, and system improvements.
  • Help ensure finance applications are stable, secure, well-governed, and aligned with business requirements.

Manufacturing Finance & Operational Integration

  • Partner with Finance and operational teams to improve financial processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Support processes related to inventory accounting, cost accounting, product costing, purchasing, and margin reporting.
  • Help ensure ERP transactions and supporting data enable accurate inventory valuation, cost visibility, and financial reporting.
  • Work across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Customer Service to improve end-to-end process and data flow.

Data, Reporting, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with stakeholders to improve reporting, analytics, and decision support for Finance and related business functions.
  • Help improve master data quality, process discipline, and cross-functional data consistency across finance workflows.
  • Support audit readiness, internal controls, and compliance requirements related to finance systems and processes.
  • Identify root causes of recurring issues and support corrective actions to improve long-term performance and reliability.
Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, enterprise applications, business systems, or IT business partnership roles.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Finance organizations and finance-related business processes.
  • Strong understanding of order to cash, procure to pay, financial close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Experience supporting Finance in a manufacturing, distribution, or product-based business environment.
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, process improvement efforts, or transformation initiatives.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Experience supporting cross-functional processes involving Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Customer Service.
