About the RoleThe Business Analyst generates timely, accurate financial and managerial reports, ensures data integrity across SAP systems, supports month-end close, and collaborates closely with accounting, supply chain, and product management teams. This role is critical in enabling strong decision-making across the North America business.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports (Sales, P&L, KPIs, Inventory, Forecasts).
- Ensure data integrity across SAP systems (FI, CO, SD, Logistics, BI).
- Support accounting processes, including month-end close, internal controls, and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models and support product managers.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for North America.
- Provide supply chain reporting, freight KPI analysis, and accrual variance reviews.
- Expertise in accounting and finance, including taxes.
- Understanding of logistics and customer service functions.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting & Profitability Analysis).
- Working knowledge of SAP BI reporting tool.
- Ability to create reports using the SAP Report Painter.
- Understanding of the SAP SD module; able to run sales reports and analyze postings.
- Understanding of SAP Logistics module; able to run shipment reports and analyze logistics postings.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience creating, analyzing, and explaining financial results to internal management.
- 3+ years of public or industry accounting experience.
- Experience managing budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Accounting degree or equivalent required.
