Job Summary:Seeking an experienced PM/Business Analyst to support legacy-to-web application modernization initiatives. The role involves analyzing legacy systems, gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating with technical and business teams, and supporting development of modern web-based solutions using .NET and SQL technologies. The position requires strong SDLC knowledge, stakeholder management, process analysis, and modernization experience in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead business and technical analysis activities for legacy system modernization projects.
- Analyze existing legacy applications, workflows, and SQL-based data structures.
- Gather, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate legacy application functionality into modern web-based system requirements.
- Perform gap analysis between current-state and future-state systems.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and database teams.
- Support project planning, milestone tracking, issue management, and risk escalation.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, walkthroughs, and requirement sign-offs.
- Support development and QA teams with requirement clarification and validation.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to leadership.
- Prepare clear, testable, and detailed documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:- 12+ years of experience in legacy system analysis and modernization.
- 12+ years of SDLC experience for web application development.
- 12+ years of experience in requirements elicitation and documentation.
- 12+ years translating legacy applications into modern web solutions.
- Strong experience with stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination.
- Experience analyzing SQL-based data models and integrations.
- Experience reviewing workflows and identifying modernization opportunities.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to create detailed and testable requirements documentation.
- Ability to identify compliance/system gaps and propose solutions.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced project environments.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in PM/BA roles.
- Experience converting legacy applications to web-based platforms.
- Experience working with .NET development teams and SQL databases.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale IT systems in government or regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, or related certification preferred.
