DutiesHelp
- Directs end-to-end facility projects-including leases, relocations, renovations, consolidations, and alterations-by developing project plans, milestones, and risk controls aligned with the agency's long-range facilities strategy.
- Plans, administers and provides advice to management regarding programs for government facilities, office space, telecommunications, office equipment and building management throughout the Agency.
- Evaluates conditions of leased and government space and adequacy of building management.
- Serves as building management coordinator on facility matters, repairs, and maintenance.
- Project manager for facilities construction projects, serving as the lead liaison with GSA/WHS. Oversees site requirements, schedules, and budgets to deliver mission-ready infrastructure while ensuring compliance with interagency protocols.

QualificationsYou may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

Specialized Experience:You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 or equivalent level.
Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience is defined as: initiating and implementing policies and procedures which require the coordination, integration and resolution of a wide variety of issues and concerns which involve project management, facilities management, and space management.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
EducationSubstitution of Education for Specialized Experience: There is no substitution of education for experience at this grade level.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in a conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying or prior to appointment as outlined above.
- Qualifying education from colleges and universities in foreign countries must be evaluated in terms of equivalency to that acquired in U.S. colleges and universities. Applicants educated in whole or in part in foreign countries must submit sufficient evidence, including transcripts, to an accredited private organization for an equivalency evaluation of course work and degree. You must provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation upon request. Failure to provide such documentation when requested will result in lost consideration.
