Job Description - Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Location & Opening position : ( West Des Moines, USA- Client Location ) 1 Onsite . Experience: 7-12 years Domain: Annuities / Insurance Role Summary We are looking for high caliber Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) who are strong problem solvers and effective collaborators, with the ability to leverage AI tools to work smarter and faster. The ideal candidate combines solid business analysis fundamentals with modern, AI assisted ways of working to deliver high quality outcomes efficiently. Annuity is the priority. Key Responsibilities Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document requirements across business and technology teams Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and process flows Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and architecture teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly Act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment on scope, priorities, and outcomes AI-enabled, fast-moving professional Strong hands-on use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude Code) to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution design Uses AI to offload lower-value tasks and focus on high-value, complex problem solving and stakeholder conversations Support UAT planning and execution, including test case reviews and defect triage Identify process gaps and recommend practical, scalable improvements Strong data analysis and data mapping skills, with a profile close to a Data Analyst Advanced SQL, solid database concepts, and experience with APIs and integrations Technical and analytical background Former developers with strong systems analysis skills are highly preferred Able to analyze problems quickly and produce high-quality outputs at speed 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst Preferred . Experience in Annuities, Retirement Services, Insurance. Familiarity with Agile / SAFe delivery models Exposure to platforms such as policy administration systems, data platforms, or digital portals Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models Comfort reviewing technical designs and API level flows (no coding required)
