Kimley-Horn's Indianapolis, Indiana (IN) office is seeking a Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join their Bridge Structures team! This is not a remote position.

• Serve as project manager or technical lead for structural engineering projects
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations across projects
• Develop scopes, fees, schedules, proposals, and pursuit materials while supporting client relationships
• Mentor staff, delegate effectively, and support development of junior engineers and emerging leaders
• Coordinate across teams, offices, and disciplines to deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes
• Participate in office growth, practice development, and firm initiatives

• 8+ years of relevant engineering design experience
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup with some ability to produce drawings and details, when needed
• Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, and other structural related design software
• Strong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrently
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development
• Positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
