About the Role

As the Brand Partnerships Associate, you will help drive new brand growth and support the onboarding. You will work alongside the Business Development team and General Manager to identify, engage, and help sign new brand partners, then serve as an early point of contact guiding them through activation, training, agreement execution, operational setup, Marketplace readiness, and ongoing engagement.

You will partner closely with Business Development and General Manager on outreach, qualification, and closing new brand partners - helping move prospects through the sales cycle and ensuring agreements are completed accurately and on time. You will also collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Support, and other internal teams to help resolve onboarding needs, coordinate inbound product timelines, and ensure brands are prepared for a successful launch.

This role is highly collaborative and detail-oriented, with a focus on creating a smooth and consistent experience for brand partners from first outreach through launch. You will help maintain onboarding workflows, identify potential issues or gaps, and contribute to process improvements as the Nabis brand network continues to grow. This role reports directly to the Brand Partnerships Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Brand Sourcing & Outreach: Partner with Business Development to identify and prospect potential brand partners; conduct initial outreach and qualification conversations to build the new brand pipeline.
  • Market Presence & Relationship Building: Build genuine relationships with brands and industry contacts by engaging out in market; attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build the Nabis brand pipeline and strengthen Nabis's presence in the community.
  • Signing New Brands: Support and help drive the sign-on process for new brands - presenting the Nabis value proposition, coordinating on standard terms alongside BD, and helping move agreements to signature.
  • Agreement Coordination: Coordinate agreement execution, storage, and internal documentation while ensuring required information is complete and accurate.
  • Brand Communication: Serve as an early point of contact for new brands, providing timely communication and helping partners understand the onboarding process.
  • Brand Onboarding: Support the onboarding workflow for brands across all states, ensuring required steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Onboarding Tracking: Monitor onboarding progress and maintain accurate information throughout each stage of the process.
  • Brand Training: Conduct training on Nabis systems, Marketplace tools, compliance requirements, and operational workflows to help brands prepare for launch.
  • Brand Relationship Support: Develop positive relationships with brand partners and provide a responsive, helpful experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Offboarding Support: Assist with communication and workflow steps when brands exit Nabis, ensuring information is updated accurately across internal systems.
  • Data Quality & Documentation: Maintain accurate brand information, agreements, contacts, licensing information, pricing, and system configurations.
  • Issue Identification & Product Feedback: Identify process gaps, recurring questions, or technical issues and communicate feedback to Revenue, Operations, Support, and Product teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with BD, Accounting, Operations, Support, Product, and Revenue teams to help move brands through signing, onboarding, and renewal workflows.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, onboarding, account management, customer success, operations, revenue enablement, marketplace/e-commerce, or a related role. Experience working with CRM systems, contract documentation, or cross-functional workflows is preferred. Cannabis, alcohol, CPG, or other regulated industry experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly pitch, explain, and guide partners through processes and requirements. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow workflows through completion.
  • Attributes: Proactive, dependable, collaborative, and solution-oriented. Comfortable working with multiple teams and interacting directly with external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable learning new software and working with CRM, spreadsheets, internal databases, and other business systems.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Salary: $70,000 + 30% bonus
