Brand Marketing Director

Position Description

Burn Boot Camp is seeking a Brand Marketing Director to conceptualize, create, and plan brand marketing initiatives that advance the Burn Boot Camp marketing agenda. The Brand Marketing Director will work directly with our Headquarters Team and report to the Vice President of Marketing.

This position will work cross-departmentally to lead and oversee Branding, Marketing Operations, Products, Promotions and Social Media. The Brand Marketing Director is responsible for implementing marketing and development programs across the different lines of business within the Burn Boot Camp brand, including the support of our franchise network of gyms, retail and nutrition products, and gym expansion initiatives. This position will focus on driving members into our currently open gyms while building marketing plans to innovate the brand's offering.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Build Strategic Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing plans for Burn Boot Camp and its various business streams, including consumer marketing and membership promotions, franchise development, retail, company-owned locations, and virtual fitness offerings.
  • Oversee Deliverables: manage resources to execute digital, print, and hyperlocal marketing and advertising campaigns for the Burn Boot Camp Franchise System and its affiliates using the Burn Boot Camp National Brand Fund. Maintains a consistent brand image throughout all digital/print promotional materials, locations, distribution platforms, events, joint ventures, and any other affiliated marketing and/or advertising channels.
  • Promotions: Plan and innovate the National Promotions and Community-Building events that Burn manages.
  • Brand Messaging: Oversee the brand messaging across all mediums and affiliates by delivering clear and concise voice and tone aligned with the mission of the company. Includes written word, video, and audio mediums.
  • Marketing Performance: Responsible for reporting, forecasting, and analyzing performance, activities, and campaigns according to objectives and key results.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of in-house experts to execute initiatives. Responsible for hiring, training, and performance review processes to develop marketing team in alignment with the culture of the organization.
  • System Training: Oversee the creation of manuals and training materials necessary for marketing implementation across the system, including the oversight of corporate communications.
  • Brand Uniformity: Ensure that brand messaging is clear and concise at the unit level, on social media platforms, at live events, and all other facets of the brand. Oversee quality assurance and protect brand standards from unit-level to national level.
  • Product Marketing: Oversee product marketing for Burn Nutrition, Burn Retail and any other products offered.
  • Advertising: Work with in-house experts to build and manage digital advertising strategies to drive results across products and services, including Franchise Development.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Any other reasonable duties as required and/or assigned by the VP of Marketing.


Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years experience in marketing, advertising, online and/or customer marketing, preferably for a B2C/consumer-driven business
  • 3+ years experience managing a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects
  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Passion for fitness, health and nutrition; enthusiastic about Burn Boot Camp's mission
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong understanding of both brand marketing and digital marketing principles
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
  • Thorough understanding of direct marketing principles.
  • Franchising experience a plus
