Wells Enterprises is looking for a strategic & action-oriented Brand Manager to steward our Refreshment brands into their next era of growth. Reporting to the Director of Refreshment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple Refreshment brands, including a growing number of candy brand launches into the frozen category. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in autonomy, commands a mix of creative instincts and analytical prowess, has portfolio management skills, and can inspire a diverse cross functional team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Develop, collaborate, and implement brand strategies that grow the Refreshment business in frozen treats.
  • Holistic General Management: Champion the bottom-line success of the brands, identifying opportunities for improvement and partnering with cross-functional partners to capitalize on their resolution.
  • Cross-Company Partnership: Lead communication & collaboration efforts with our partners at Ferrara, leveraging the equity of their powerful candy brands to drive Refreshment growth while contributing to their continued Masterbrand expansion.
  • Licensed Business Strategy & Leadership: Lead our Licensed business, partnering with other brand leaders and licensor partners to bring cultural relevance to the category in retail and mobile vending.
  • Consumer Insights & Trends: Strategically conduct & analyze consumer research, market research, and syndicated data analysis to identify trends and inform go-forward plans.
  • Marketing Campaigns & Activation: Lead an integrated agency team to plan & execute marketing campaigns that win the hearts and minds of consumers - including tactics such as digital, social, influencer, and traditional advertising - while ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Sales, Retail, and E-Com Support: Collaborate with demand partners to connect brand and marketing initiatives with the goals and objectives of our customer partners, driving growth for all.
  • New Product Development: Partner with our innovation team, product managers, R&D, and production experts to identify new products that solve consumer needs while aligning with brand positioning criteria.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization: Measure and analyze key performance indicators, leveraging findings to adjust strategies and meet business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead & coach a team of (1) Sr. Associate Brand Manager, developing their skills and capabilities while delivering business results you both can be proud of.

The base pay range for this position is $115,766 to $162,073 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
