MissionAs our Branch Manager, your mission is to lead the overall performance of an NTE branch by aligning sales, service, operations, safety, people, and financial priorities. You will create clear accountability, strengthen customer relationships, develop employees, and ensure the branch delivers reliable rental solutions safely and efficiently.
What You Will DoBranch Leadership & Performance- Set branch priorities and translate business objectives into clear operating plans.
- Lead collaboration across sales, service, operations, transportation, and administration.
- Monitor branch performance, identify risks, and take timely corrective action.
- Maintain visible leadership and consistent communication throughout the branch.
Financial & Commercial Management- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and responsible cost management.
- Review operating results and improve productivity, utilization, and profitability.
- Partner with sales teams to strengthen customer relationships and support growth.
- Ensure purchasing, vendor, receivable, and payable activities are appropriately managed.
People Leadership- Select, coach, develop, and retain a capable branch team.
- Set expectations, provide feedback, and support succession and career development.
- Build an inclusive culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Safety, Quality & Compliance- Lead compliance with company safety, environmental, quality, and operating requirements.
- Promote proactive hazard identification, incident prevention, and corrective action.
- Ensure branch records, assets, and practices meet company and legal requirements.
To Succeed, You Will Need- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years operational leadership with P&L responsibility in equipment rental, industrial services, construction, or a related environment.
- Possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card.
- Moderately clean driving record
- Business and financial acumen with strong planning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead through changing priorities and balance customer, employee, and operational needs.
- Strong communication, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Working knowledge of rental operations, fleet management, and safety practices.
Job Location & ScheduleThis position is based at our NTE
Jacksonville location. Branch Managers are expected to maintain a regular work schedule (7:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday) while exercising the flexibility necessary to support branch operations. This role may require availability outside normal business hours to address urgent customer, employee, safety, or operational matters.
