ABOUT THE ROLE:The Branch Manager is a leadership role serving as the primary representative of the bank within the local retail community. This position focuses on building strategic partnerships, enhancing brand visibility, and driving new retail opportunities. The role requires a forward-thinking mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver results in retail sales.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - Build strong internal and external partnerships; identify growth opportunities; drive referrals across lending, deposits, and digital banking.
- Manage retail deposit and loan portfolios.
- Champion a personalized, high-touch service model that ensures every client feels valued and understood.
- Oversee consumer and small business account opening and maintenance and resolve escalated client concerns with empathy and tailored solutions.
- Understand market dynamics and banking trends; manage budgets and branch performance targets; apply sound judgment in credit and lending decisions.
- Oversee daily branch operations; maintain regulatory compliance and audit standards; monitor performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
- Recruit, train, onboard, and coach branch team members; foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and community focus.
- Represent the branch at local events and initiatives to enhance visibility and brand presence.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE: - Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive banking experience.
- Proven ability to generate new business, deepen client relationships, and achieve sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of retail and small business banking products.
- Demonstrated success and/or aptitude to lead teams and manage branch operations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Skilled in fostering positive relationships and effective communication.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time.
