Class 1 Boom Truck Driver to join our team in Alberta. In this role, you will transport, deliver, and retrieve construction and industrial equipment across Central and Northern Alberta while providing exceptional service to our customers.
This position is ideal for a professional driver who enjoys working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable operating in a variety of conditions, including construction sites, industrial facilities, remote locations, and challenging weather conditions. Flexibility is essential, as customer demands may require early starts, extended days, and overtime opportunities.
Hours 7:30 am - 4 pm, with overtime available, there will be no overnights.

What you will do...- Safely transport, deliver, and retrieve construction and heavy equipment to customer job sites.
- Operate a boom truck in accordance with all provincial regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and equipment inspections and report any concerns promptly.
- Secure equipment using proper chaining, strapping, and blocking procedures.
- Navigate a variety of environments, including urban areas, industrial sites, remote locations, and active construction projects.
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELDs) and mobile technology to accurately record hours, inspections, deliveries, and pickups.
- Communicate professionally with customers to coordinate deliveries, identify drop-off locations, and resolve service-related concerns.
- Respond calmly and professionally to challenging customer situations and provide solutions-focused service.
- Report delivery delays, incidents, accidents, or equipment damage to branch leadership and dispatch.
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and customer priorities throughout the day.
- Maintain accurate digital records, delivery documentation, and compliance logs.
- Support branch operations when not completing deliveries, including assisting with shop and yard activities such as equipment preparation, basic maintenance support, housekeeping, and general team tasks.

Requirements- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.Alberta Red Seal Crane Certification (or equivalent recognized Alberta Crane Ticket).
- Valid Picker/Boom Truck Certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial vehicles and/or boom trucks in construction, industrial, or equipment rental environments.
- Clean commercial driver's abstract.Experience loading, unloading, securing, and transporting construction or heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of provincial transportation, safety, and hours-of-service regulations.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position equipment using crane and boom truck operations.Forklift experience is considered an asset; training may be provided.Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.
