Body Shop Technician (Dams Ford Lincoln)

Dams Ford is looking for an experienced Body Shop Technician / Auto Body Technician to join our collision repair team in Surrey.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled collision repair professional who takes pride in quality work, follows repair procedures properly, and wants a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule with a strong automotive group.

What You'll Do

As a Body Shop Technician, you will perform high-quality collision and body repairs while following repair orders, manufacturer procedures, and safety standards.

Your work will include:
  • Reviewing and following repair order requirements
  • Checking parts before repairs begin
  • Performing frame and unibody structural repairs
  • Completing body sheet metal repairs
  • Repairing or replacing damaged body panels
  • Removing and installing hoods, fenders, doors, trim, glass, and interior components
  • Performing plastic repairs and component replacements
  • Repairing restraint systems, including airbags and seat belts
  • Using frame machines and measuring systems
  • Welding or attaching replacement sections
  • Verifying dimensional accuracy and system function
  • Completing repairs according to factory specifications
  • Documenting repair details accurately in CDK or the shop management system
  • Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe


What We're Looking For
  • Experience as a Body Shop Technician, Auto Body Technician, Autobody Technician, or Collision Repair Technician
  • Red Seal Auto Body certification preferred
  • I-CAR Gold or Platinum certification preferred
  • Strong experience with collision repair, frame repair, unibody repair, panel replacement, and welding
  • Ability to follow OEM repair procedures and manufacturer specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and repair quality
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • A team-first attitude
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic


Nice to Have
  • Dealership body shop experience
  • Ford or manufacturer-specific collision repair experience
  • CDK or shop management system experience
  • Experience with advanced measuring systems and frame equipment
