Full Job Description
Role Description:

The Body Serviceability & Collision Lead is responsible for influencing early product designs to meeting service requirements in the Body and Collision commodities. They are responsible to assess future product designs, fulfill field collision technical support, and prepare the technical documentation for collision repair procedures and training.

This team must provide the collision repair strategy for the collision repair manual author, facilitate physical repair trials, and define the technical training and equipment requirements for the certified network. This resource serves as the main point of contact for proper and safe repair for the collision industry as it relates to Stellantis-based vehicles.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of automotive technical experience in Auto Body/Collision Repair
  • 2+ years of working with automotive body structures, lighting, fascia's / bumper covers, wiper systems, doors, glass, etc.
  • 2+ years of collision body repair experience (estimator or body shop experience)
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of field collision repair techniques & industry service practices
  • In-depth knowledge of Auto Body/Collision Repair requirements
  • Understands process development, program management, and problem-solving techniques
  • Must be comfortable presenting to all levels of management
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and team building skills
  • Strong problem solving, planning and analytical
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel, or equivalent applications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be trustworthy and conduct themselves professionally
  • Must be willing to travel domestically (minimal travel expected)


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience interfacing with Engineering/manufacturing personnel
  • Experienced in working with manufacturing facilities
  • Ability to navigate CAD and interface with 3D models
  • ASE and/or I-CAR Certifications
