Full Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Own whole-vehicle validation for body exterior systems: closures, sealing, water management, wind noise, lighting, and fit-and-finish.
Define validation strategies for extreme environmental exposure, corrosion, high-mileage durability, and high-pressure car wash conditions.
Establish validation routes, environmental chamber profiles, and aero/vibration scenarios for door closures, liftgates, glazing, and wiper/washer systems.
Support cross-functional alignment across Body Exterior, Closures, Sealing, Lighting, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Vehicle teams.
Develop vehicle-level test cases and translate exterior targets into test procedures, instrumentation strategies, and validation plans.
Lead validation campaigns and evaluation trips to proving grounds, public roads, and extreme climate regions.
Drive test execution and data collection using leak detection systems, thermal sensors, strain gauges, and accelerometers.
Ensure requirement-to-test traceability using tools such as Code beamer, Jama, or Jira; document results and sign-offrecommendations.

Hands-on experience with CANoe, INCA, and validation instrumentation for vehicle network and sensor data.
Experience defining whole vehicle test plans (DVP) and tracking build/software changes across vehicle fleets.
Working knowledge of ALM/product tracking tools: Jama, Polarion, DOORS, MagicDraw, or Codebeamer.
Solid understanding of whole vehicle development phases and automotive-specific safety standards.
Experience testing complete vehicle systems for automotive-grade compliance and industry regulations.
