Position Summary

Under the supervision of a Department Director or assigned delegate, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide initial and ongoing supervision to behavioral staff working with children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders within the Severe Behavior Department. This position will supervise a caseload of patients, conduct assessments, design and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress toward goals, and provide caregiver training. This position will also provide direct supervision while providing positive and constructive feedback daily. This position will assist in directing the treatment team in their crisis response procedures in order to effectively de-escalate patients engaging in aggressive and destructive behavior. This position will also assist with hiring and training new behavioral staff.

* This position will regularly encounter potentially moderate- to high-risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to the employee. These situations may include, but are not limited to, providing behavioral therapy in situations where the patients display property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression. This position will receive specialized behavior management training.
