Board certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to behavior management.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior analytic principles and techniques.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with research data collection methods and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
Board certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Skills- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education practices and medical terminology.
- Strong skills in medical documentation and adherence to HIPAA standards.
- Ability to effectively collect, analyze, and interpret research data related to behavioral interventions.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
