Description: Scarborough Public Schools seeks a proven leader with a strong philosophy of distributed school leadership to join a dynamic team of K-2 educators as building principal. The ideal candidate will bring building leadership experience, commitment to students and a strong school community, an excitement for learning, demonstrated success in building a data culture that increases and ensures more equitable student achievement, and commitment to professional learning. This role requires an individual with solid curriculum and assessment knowledge, a commitment to working alongside dedicated educators and staff towards continuous improvement, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.

Qualifications: Maine Department of Education Certification as Principal or equivalent/State of Maine Administrator Certification 040.
