Our client, a large Biopharma company in the U.S., is looking for a remote Sr. Business Analyst/Project Manager hybrid to join their Pharm Sci organization, aligning under the Data Science, Machine Learning and AI team, supporting their project portfolio through PM oversight. This group supports the digital functions of the greater Worldwide Research and Development/ Biotherapeutic Pharmaceutical Sciences organization as it relates to the disciplines mentioned above. They have a series of projects they need PM oversight on that involve working with multiple groups/business lines to gather requirements and current system state, document data gathered and then solution a unified go forward plan that streamlines processes. Example: currently all 4 molecular lines of business are using clunky manual ways to forecast, resource and track budgets and each does it unique. We need to understand the current state of each group and solution new unified singular processes to conduct forecasting and track it in whatever homegrown tool this person and they developer/teams decided on. They will also be supporting the integration efforts down the line that will come with the merger of small and large molecule (legacy BTxPharmSci now combined under Transformational Technologies). Those involve heavy system requirement gathering, solutioning and go forward plan for what systems to eliminate and which to continue as well as new ones they decide to bring in instead of what they have today. Having great people skills, organization and ability to drive the projects forward is a must.
This person will be responsible for anywhere from 1-5 projects in their portfolio at a time.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience as a cross functional PM over a system integration within BioTech/Pharma or Data Science
Experience as a PM within Data Science, AI, or ML groups

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in BA/PM roles within Biotech PharmSci, Gen AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or application implementation projects
Experience capturing current state of multiple teams and their affiliated processes, documenting those, understanding and explaining and/or presenting on go forward unified solutions
Ability to manage and support cross functional projects and stakeholders
Experience documenting in some kind of project tool (Their tool is going to be homegrown)
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
