What You Will Do:Responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, demonstration, and repair of highly complex diagnostic/ therapeutic medical devices. Provides a high quality of training to clinical departments and technical support to clinical departments in area of expertise. Performs highly skilled technical and advisory work with clinical departments to assist in the development of processes/procedures relative to clinical use of technologies.
What you will need:- Associates degree in electronics OR biomedical equipment technology OR military training in biomedical equipment technology, OR equivalent experience obtained through original manufacturer training.
- Valid State of Wisconsin Driver's License with acceptable driving record and at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to use own vehicle for travel between work sites.
- At least 8 years related biomedical engineering experience.
- Certification(s) preferred:
- Biomed Equip Tech Cert (CBET)
- Lab Equipment Specialist Certification (CLES)
- Radiology Equipment Specialist Cert (CRES)
- Certification by the ICC (International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Technology)
- CBET (Certification for Biomedical Equipment Technicians)
- CRES (Certification for Radiology Equipment Specialists)
- CLES (Certification for Clinical Laboratory Specialists)
