About the Role

In this role, you'll lead model coordination and digital construction workflows across mission-critical and large-scale infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with design teams, field leadership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure models are accurate, constructable, and aligned with real-world installation sequencing and execution requirements.

From clash detection and constructability reviews to field-ready installation packages and turnover support, you'll play a critical role in ensuring projects move from design to execution seamlessly and efficiently.

What You'll Do - Coordinate with Precision. Build with Confidence.

• Drive BIM/VDC coordination efforts across multiple trades and systems, ensuring models are aligned, constructable, and execution ready.
• Identify and resolve clashes, interface conflicts, and constructability concerns before they impact field production or schedule performance.
• Coordinate Div 26 electrical systems, Div 27 structured cabling, Div 28 security systems, and related infrastructure across complex project environments.
• Work directly with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure digital models reflect real-world means, methods, sequencing, and installation constraints.
• Facilitate design-assist and design-build coordination sessions focused on installation feasibility, system integration, and field execution readiness.
• Support production and release of coordinated drawings, installation packages, layout deliverables, and sequencing plans for field teams.
• Manage ongoing updates through RFIs, submittals, revisions, as-builts, field redlines, and scope changes to ensure models remain accurate throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure digital workflows support project schedules, sequencing strategies, turnover milestones, and operational readiness requirements.
• Lead and participate in coordination sessions, driving accountability and issue resolution through closure.
• Support clean handoffs between preconstruction, design, and field operations to maintain continuity and eliminate execution gaps.

Systems & Project Environments You'll Support

• Div 26 power distribution, pathways, grounding, lighting, and integrated electrical systems
• Div 27 structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, telecommunications, DAS, and network connectivity
• Div 28 access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
• Data centers, high-availability facilities, and complex infrastructure environments requiring coordinated multi-trade execution

What You Bring

• 5-8+ years of experience in BIM/VDC coordination, digital construction, or construction technology
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, constructability, and installation means and methods
• Experience coordinating multi-trade systems within complex commercial or mission-critical environments
• Proficiency with BIM/VDC platforms including Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools
• Ability to translate design intent into coordinated, field-executable deliverables
• Experience supporting design-assist or design-build project delivery models preferred
• Strong working knowledge of RFIs, submittals, field revisions, and coordination workflows
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across field, engineering, and subcontractor teams
• High attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• BIM/VDC certifications or related technical credentials are a plus

Work Environment
This role operates within both office and active construction site environments. Responsibilities may require standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and participating in on-site coordination activities. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to support client meetings, project execution, and site activities. Close visual attention is required for reviewing models, plans, specifications, and construction documentation.
