Full Job Description
Position Overview:

Woolpert is hiring an experienced BIM Specialist to join our dynamic Aviation team in Orlando, Florida. The BIM Specialist should have strong BIM technical expertise to support aviation & airport clients on best practices for integration BIM data into GIS enterprise platform solutions. This position would review BIM data delivered by other consultants and check and review the data conforms to the client's BIM standards. Additionally, this BIM consultant could assist in the export, transform and load (ETL) processes of transferring data CAD, BIM and other platforms. This position is an on-site position in Orlando, Florida and will be required to report to an office at the Orlando International Airport.

What You Will Do:
  • Assist with the extraction and conversion of data between BIM, CAD, GIS and other platforms.
  • Assist with converting existing BIM models to match BIM standards.
  • Have a strong technical background which can assist in the design, analysis and modification of BIM data with minimal supervision.
  • Quality assurance on BIM model deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with client staff to deliver BIM data and solutions.
  • Work with staff to ensure successful project delivery, consistent quality, customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of GIS technology for BIM data integration purposes. Assist in the development of new applications, workflows, data standards, and solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Provide quality reviews of project documentation including work plans through final deliverables.
  • Assist the client in data maintenance procedures and processes.
  • Stay up on the technology and help develop a team that can meet our clients' needs.

What You Will Bring:

$75,400-$94,300 USD
