Full Job Description
The Opportunity

The BIM Implementation and Content Specialist will support the Design Technology Manager in the digital transformation, starting with our Substation and Battery Storage design practices. This role will focus on the implementation of BIM standards, tools, and workflows across projects while maintaining high-quality Revit content that supports efficient and consistent design delivery.

What You'll Do

Implementation & Workflow Development
  • Set up and maintain Revit environments, templates, and standards for new projects.
  • Develop and document project-specific workflows and modeling protocols.
  • Create and maintain custom tools using Dynamo, Python, pyRevit, and the Revit API.
  • Coordinate the rollout of new BIM technologies, features, and add-ins.
  • Support project teams during onboarding and early project phases.
  • Incorporate new version releases and customization of the product deployments.
  • Support the implementation of supporting software for project delivery such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Evaluate, test, and propose new modeling and project delivery-related software and technologies to enhance productivity and project performance.
  • Develop and promote integration of efficiency tools, computational workflows, and automation to streamline the project delivery process.
  • Initiate a workflow process that promotes user involvement in forming feedback channels to continue to improve and enhance existing project delivery software and standards.

Content Creation & Management
  • Design and manage complex, parametric Revit families and system components.
  • Maintain centralized content libraries and ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Propose and implement QA/QC processes for content validation and model health.
  • Propose and launch optimization measures for performance, usability, and scalability across disciplines.

Collaboration & Support
  • Work closely with Design Technology Manager, project leaders, and IT to align tools with project goals.
  • Track and report on industry trends and Autodesk platform updates related to business.
  • Learn and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the key responsibilities and processes of design teams through ongoing learning and collaboration.
  • Support design and modeling standards development, implementation, training, governance, enhancement, and change management.
  • Work with various committees to strategize project delivery software best practices, guidelines, and implementation across all offices.

What We Expect from You
  • Associate's degree in drafting, architectural, or engineering design or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent in 3D design in large complex projects utilizing Autodesk Revit.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent in a BIM leadership role including process and standards development.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit, including template and family creation.
  • Expertise in generating parametric content for use on project delivery with Revit.
  • Strong experience with Dynamo, Python, pyRevit, and the Revit API.
  • Strong experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Autodesk Platform Services.
  • Deep understanding of Revit workflow design, project setup, and content strategy.
  • Excellent communication, change management, problem-solving, documentation, and training skills.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset by actively seeking opportunities to learn, adapt, and improve processes, tools, and personal skills in a rapidly evolving digital design environment.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $76,800 - $103,900
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role, and comparison to other employees already in this role
