Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring a BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic Design & Digital Technology team. This position reports to the BIM Manager and is responsible for supporting the delivery of BIM execution by coordinating model development, enforcing project-specific BIM requirements, and assisting in the implementation of Woolpert BIM standards across architecture, MEP, and structural disciplines. The BIM Coordinator helps project teams maintain accurate, well-organized, and coordinated BIM models while supporting project delivery, model quality, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role has advanced skills in the area of Design Technology with a focus on Building Information Modeling. The BIM Coordinator supports project setup, complex modeling tasks, family development, model organization, coordination workflows, and BIM-related project tasks under the direction of BIM Managers, Project Leads, and Design & Digital Technology leadership.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate BIM activities including model organization, model cleanup & general BIM trouble shooting.
  • Maintain BIM models in Revit and related tools ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Support BIM Execution Plan (BEP) development and implementation
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination across A/E disciplines
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings
  • Enforce BIM standards and modeling requirements
  • Perform model audits and quality checks
  • Support training and mentoring of junior staff
  • Assist with workflows, schedules, and coordination strategies
  • Stay current with BIM tools and emerging technologies
  • Assist in modeling in Revit from LiDAR scans and CAD backgrounds


What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Design Technology related role
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration platforms
  • Proficiency and deep understanding of Autodesk Cloud Services & Collaboration
  • Understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of BIM standards and quality expectations
  • Fluency in Point Cloud modeling
  • Experience coordinating complex building projects acting within a BIM role
  • Autodesk/BIM certifications or equivalent (preferred)
  • Dynamo Scripting and AI fluency applied to BIM Coordination (preferred)

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Pay Range

$75,400-$94,300 USD
