The Opportunity

As a BIM Coordinator - Process and Plant you will contribute to the digital backbone of complex industrial and infrastructure projects across Ontario. Your work will help teams design smarter, coordinate more effectively, and deliver high-impact solutions that shape communities.

Your Impact
  • Act as a multi-disciplinary BIM Coordinator for process plant, buildings and civil
  • Assist the BIM teams in BIM project setup and model management
  • Review of key milestone deliverables in accordance with project BIM standards as well as associated LOD and LOI
  • Experienced in Bentley MicroStation, OpenX products including OpenPlant, OpenBuildings, OpenRoads, OpenGround as well as BRCM, OpenUtilities Substation, iTwin, PlantSight and ProjectWise
  • Experience in setting up Seed Files, Managed WorkSpaces, cells, parts catalogues, etc.
  • Develop Automation and experience in ISO 19650 processes and Standards
  • Lead and perform VDR's and clash detection on iTwin in a proactive manner to ensure BIM Models are well coordinated
  • Work under direction of the BIM Manager or Lead Designer
  • Design, develop and enforce modelling protocol and standards with BIM Manager
  • Discuss improvement on design standards and quality with BIM leaders
  • Promote esprit de corps amongst colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with project BIM/CADD quality plans, LOD and LOI requirements
  • Able to communicate well with others
  • Responsible to participate and support the Company's SHEQ within their scope of duties

  • Good understanding of BIM for Buildings, Civil, Mining and Plant
  • Advanced proficiency with Bentley tools: MicroStation, OpenPlant, OpenBuildings, OpenRoads, OpenGround, BRCM, OpenUtilities Substation, iTwin, PlantSight, and ProjectWise.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards, 4D/5D capabilities, and digital project delivery best practices.
  • Ability to drive coordination, solve complex technical challenges, and champion digital excellence.
  • Experience in Canadian Nuclear Standards and IPD contracting is of an advantage

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104 100 - $138 000
MB & ON: $95 000 - $130 800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94 100 - $124 900
