The Billing Director provides leadership to and oversight of the Firm's billing function for their respective line of business focus area(s).The position is responsible for ensuring the most effective and efficient policies, procedures, and systems are in place to facilitate timely and accurate billing and invoice processing, reporting and analysis. This team works directly with our Owners and LOB/Service Line/Capability/Operational leaders to provide consistent policies, procedures, and billing practices across the organization while ensuring the firm meets our billing goals.
Essential Duties:
- Manage the monthly and annual billing process for respective line of business focus area(s).Responsible for coordinating and organizing schedules, processes, and procedures for the timely billing of the firm’s services. This includes meeting with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with standard billing practices, education of primary billers, and implementation of standard billing practices.
- In collaboration with the Billing/AR Leader, cultivate seamless and highly effective working relationships, interoperability, and lines of communication with the Firm’s Owners, line of business leaders, cross functional stakeholders, and across the finance organization.Act as a key contributor in the preparation of the periodic financial presentations, working closely with the finance peers and line of business leaders.
- In collaboration with the Billing Leader, develop a deep understanding of the Firm’s practices, clients, and business, and evaluate and drive corresponding functional enhancements, operational efficiencies, innovation, and continuous improvement across the Firm’s revenue functional areas.
- Provides effective leadership to billing Managers and/or their teams through planning appropriate staffing levels; interviewing, selecting, orienting, and training; communicating performance expectations & providing feedback on performance, recognition, coaching, employee counseling reports and/or discipline including termination; innovative and strategic leadership guiding employees through process changes; creating career growth opportunities and employee development plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting or equivalent experience – Required
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $126,500 - $223,900
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
